Fairfax, VA – Students rocked the patio outside The Hub at George Mason University’s Plazapalooza concert on Friday, despite the rain. Familiar faces arrived at The Hub throughout the afternoon between bouts of the storm.
Extraordinora opened the show early in the day after picking up the guitar just over a month ago. The early crowd was jazzed by covers including some work by the Front Bottoms. After the performance, Extraordinora helped the Music Production Club behind the scenes as the other artists trickled in for their sets.Plazapalooza’s lineup features bands comprised of students and local artists around the DMV
The event started in 2016. It showcases local talent from within the student body. The Media Production Club hosts the event. Dawn took over as treasurer of the club last year and Jared took on the seat of club president.
